Frontier Days is just around the corner & as in the last 4 summer Steve is orgainising a trip to Frontier Days.
Frontier Days is the largest outdoors rodeo in the world as is referred to as the DADDY OF 'EM ALL. There is bull riding, steer wrestling, wild horse racing & other events. See pictures from previous trips.
The trip will cost $25 which includes all transport to Frontier park & back from I house, the entry fee into the park, the rodeo & $1 token to use on food at the park, NO external food or drinks can be taken in, however you can take in empty containers, entry to the Native American Indian village where there will be Native American dancing.
Time line
Meet at I house at 9:15am to sign waivers & for me to check everyone off, there are 46 spaces again this year as we are taking a CSU bus to the event
9:45 am leave for Cheyenne in Wyoming for rodeo
10:45 am, arrive at Frontier park
11:00 am go into park, you will have 1.5 hours to look around, buy gifts & western crafts, play on amusement park rides that are there, have something to eat like turkey legs, see facebook page for photo of turkey legs
12:30 pm meet to go into rodeo, rodeo starts at 12:45pm but they have national anthem at 12:45 & you are not allowed in whilst they are singing this
4:15 pm rodeo ends & you will have an hour to look around park in case there are thing gifts that you need to pick up or rides to go on
5:15 pm, meet to go to Indian village
6:00 pm Indian dancing
7:00 pm meet bus & return
8:00 pm Back to I-house
Please conatc Steve to sign up, you can also sign up at summer BBQs through most of June, i am away the 25th June & 2nd July BBQS. When you sign up you can pay but all payments must be received before we leave & the tickets are not refundable.
